Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our campus is a STEAM school and students are fortunate to engage with various forms of technology in every classroom that brings forth more educational opportunities despite their background.
My students are low socioeconomic individuals who come to school to gain better skills and knowledge that will move forth their economic status in the future.
My students look forward to gaining different opportunities to enhance their educational opportunities. My students only have traditional school supplies or utilize campus resources at hand.
My Project
Often times, students are unmotivated to create good work because they know its going to be presented in a non-colorful way and they do not have the resources to print their work in color at home or public library. I want my students to have a colorful resource in class.
My students are tired of seeing black and white.
Students are creating projects that they are creating from endless hours of research and what better than to see it in another hue when it is printed. My students will be able to showcase beautiful projects that will demonstrate all the work they put in.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
