While some donors might use technology daily, it's different in the classroom — here, technology is a powerful tool that turns abstract science concepts into colorful, interactive experiences that stick. The color printer allows me to bring lessons to life with bright scientific diagrams, charts, and hands-on project materials that keep students actively engaged and excited to learn.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for the students is seeing their work come alive in full color and being able to explore lessons tailored to their learning styles from Teachers Pay Teachers. This new access to quality resources has helped me personalize instruction, making even the toughest topics more approachable and fun. For example, some of my students who previously struggled with abstract scientific ideas have especially warmed up to the vibrant visuals and interactive activities — they now participate more confidently and show deeper understanding.\r\n\r\nYour support has done more than provide supplies; it has sparked curiosity, boosted confidence, and fostered a sense of pride and possibility in my classroom. By investing in their education, you're helping build a foundation that empowers these bright young minds to become the next generation of scientists, leaders, and innovators.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in them and for helping create a classroom where every student has the tools to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1732557160298,"projectUrl":"project/coloring-the-future-empowering-young-mi/8535682/","projectTitle":"Coloring the Future: Empowering Young Minds Through Visual Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Shannon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9124425_orig.jpg?crop=5427,5427,x658,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1698250397225","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9124425"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_16792","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":599,"numTeachers":72,"percentFrplEligible":84,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":93,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"8.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.3,"schoolId":16792,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Raul Quintanilla Middle School Steam Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Raul Quintanilla Middle School Steam Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/dallas-independent-school-district/raul-quintanilla-middle-school/16792"}
