Christmas in 1st Grade Part 1

My Project

For the 2022-2023 school year, my team and I would like to make stockings for each of our students. We hope to include basic necessities, as well as some fun activities, that can be used during the long holiday break. This project will be done in two parts, this one being the first. I am asking for stockings for each of our students, a couple of fidgets such as Popits and a cute gel pen. The stockings will be hung up at the beginning of December and will be filled on morning of our last day of school before our break. We will be doing a unit on holidays around the world where we will invite families in to teach us about holidays they celebrate, traditions they have and food they eat during this time of the year. We also hope to incorporate our own traditions using the tradition of Santa and hanging stockings for Christmas. Donations to either of these projects will benefit our entire first grade class and will bring some fun and excitement to our school year.
