This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My studious 2nd-grade scholars are currently attending school in person. My students are both English language learners and students whose first language is English, they show up eager to learn each day. They enjoy reading diverse books and participating in hands-on STEM activities.
Teaching the youth of today is very exciting… Soon, the youth will be our leaders of tomorrow.
I enjoy teaching them things that will make them successful in the future. My students come from a hard-hit economic community but rise to the challenges put before them each day.
My Project
This project will brighten my students' holiday season!
Each student will receive two coloring books to use in school and at home and the vinyl will be used to personalize their class sweatshirts!
I want my students to see and color these beautiful pages of Christmas scenes. Christmas is a magical time of the year and with these coloring books, my students will have new wonderful memories of a magical colorful Christmas. The large pages will fill their hearts with warm visions of Christmas long ago, and Christmas traditions from around the world It will show my students how other people around the world celebrate Christmas time. My students will forget for the moment where they are and have a happy, wonderful Christmas.
