My Project

I teach third grade to some incredible students in Idaho. Like most teachers, I am an avid reader and one of my main goals each year is to help students find a passion for reading. I love to introduce them to a variety of genres and authors and help them discover the joy of reading.

Each year I like to buy them a book for Christmas.

But not just any book, some kind of silly or fun picture book attached to a stuffed animal. I want them to know that no matter how old they get, they can still curl up on a chair, grab a stuffy, and enjoy a colorful, exciting picture book.

I also love to be able to reward my students with a gift each year to let them know of my love for them and to know that reading is important for their whole life. My third graders work hard and I love to be able to reward them. I know my students will LOVE "How to Catch a Yeti" and they'll love holding their Yeti all winter long!
