My Students

Fourth grade students are a unique group! These students really do enjoy learning, but they also want to appear "cool" in front of their peers. They love the adults in their lives and are beginning to yearn for freedom.

It makes me so sad when students say that school is boring!

I want my students to always look forward to coming to school! I want them to see school as a cool, fun place to be and be ready to get there each morning.

My Project

Too often, students think of school as a boring place they have to go everyday. Help us make our classroom a more inviting place where students WANT to come to learn!

With this project, we'll be incorporating multiple seating choices enabling students to choose a seat where they are most comfortable so they can kick back & get to the business of learning & growing.

Students will be able to sit, stand, or recline with the items we hope to add to our classroom this year. They will then feel more relaxed and "at home" as they are working each day. Hopefully, this will banish the boredom for them!
