This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders have difficult sitting quietly in their seats. Flexible seating maybe the answer.

Help me provide my student with the opportunity to choose seating in which they will be most engaged.

Think how awesome it would be sitting on a comfy bean bag or a wobbly chair while reading a good book or solving a math equation.

Giving my students the ability to choose the area and seating they feel most comfortable learning helps them stay engaged and focused .
