My Project

I recently had a parent guest read in my classroom. She brought one of these books to read to my book loving second grade class. The Choose Your Own Adventure book was so different from what my students have read before. Normally, they read a book with one possible ending.

However, these books give students choices on how the book will end.

This was a new experience for my students. Based on which path to take the character would create totally different outcomes. I noticed each student was so engaged with the book, because they would determine the ending.

I would love to bring this type of reading adventure into my class library.
