My Project

Many of these beautiful, resourceful, intelligent 1st grade children did not have the opportunity to attend preschool. The children that did attend had the challenge of learning and socializing while wearing masks. Covid protocols have caused some children to need a little catching up and we are working vigorously to attain all the skills we need in first grade! In my class we use a behavior management system developed by Rick Morris to help children stay motivated throughout the day. This system promotes positive behavior choices and encourages students to self-monitor behavior. At the end of the day points are awarded that add up to opportunities to pick from the prize box.

I love to see the delight in the children's faces when they have earned a treasure they love!

Every year I have funded all the prizes, but this year I am asking for your help. I will be able to have an epic prize box that will delight every child! Each prize was selected for educational purposes and fun! Some tried and true top value prizes are included in this bundle and you will be providing students with a rewarding experience! By donating to my project, you will help to increase student attention and achievement, and ultimately success in their precious lives.
