My Project
Have you ever tried to cut cardboard with scissors? It is a little challenging to say the least. And imagine trying to cut cardboard when your hands are still small. Not so easy. My younger students simply do not have the hand strength needed to cut through the material.
Having a Chompsaw will allow my students to safely and easily cut out cardboard shapes. I have so many project ideas that include using cardboard. Cardboard that is usually thrown away will be repurposed to create 3D sculptures. We will be helping to keep the boxes out of the landfill at the same time as we are making the world a more artful place.
