My Project

Makerspace Monday is the highlight of the week for many of our school's students. I recently overheard a fifth grader say "Makerspace is the only thing that gets me through Mondays!" I'm always amazed at what our students come up with using makerspace materials. We're always looking to bring new tools and materials to our makerspace that will help students create and engineer.

The ChompSaw is a kid-friendly power tool that can safely cut cardboard, paper, and fabric that our students can use to build, create, and engineer.

We've had lots of interest in building with cardboard and making small "stuffies" with fabric lately, but using scissors to cut cardboard or fabric is laborious and frustrating. The ChompSaw tool will make it so much easier and more efficient to translate our students' ideas to action.
