My Students

CMS is a flourishing school focused on effective classrooms and strong character. The students are passionate and supportive of each other. We have a wide variety of economic and social demographics but a staff passionate to strive for high expectations and the full human development. As a choir teacher, I have students who rely on public transportation to attend our concerts even when their families can't attend due to work conflicts because they love being part of the choir program!

My Project

I teach choir without any seating. Students try their best to sit on the risers and not run into each other, but there isn't enough space. These stools will not only let students have an option to sit during choir class, but I am trying to start a guitar class. Stools will be vital for guitar students rather than using the risers. The lap boards will allow me to better teach music concepts and have students write responses. For example, I can teach students how to correctly write music notation and rhythm. I need two orders of the lap boards because I have more than 30 kids per class.
