This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A classroom with flexible seating introduces students to a variety of learning and working environments.
Having a variety of learning spaces allows students to have opportunities for individual work and group collaboration.
In the classroom there are a variety of table styles. Some tables better support group work while others are best for art projects. The round adjustable table can be lowered to allow students to ground themselves and sit closer to the earth. The cushion seats will give students a comfortable seating option. The bean bag chair will be used for our Calming Corner as students take a moment to gather themselves. Flexible seating allows students to practice making responsible decisions and helps them to think about where and how they learn best.
