My Project

Just like people everywhere, students can have off days where they are not working at their best. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them and gives them more flexibility in their learning environment.

Most students are more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work.

The products I have selected will allow students to be comfortable while doing independent work or silent reading. The lap desk with a cushion gives them the ability to sit anywhere in the room and still have something to bear down on. The other lap desks allow the students to use them on our bean bags or floor cushions. These options can sometimes be more comfortable than a regular chair while still allowing them the use of a desk.

The storage bins and file holder will be used to organize the supplies used by our students. This will make our classroom more organized to make sure nothing gets misplaced.

Having six classes in a day means there are many students using the same devices and seats. All of these supplies need to be cleaned more than just at the end of the day so disinfectant supplies for cleanliness and student health are a must. I am hoping that having a more comfortable and clean environment will positively affect my students motivation and outlook.
