Help me give my students a calm, collaborative classroom where they have The Surf Portable Lap Desks and other flexible seating options to encourage creativity.

I teach 7th and 8th-grade students who have a knack for the arts. We are a unique, close-knit little family who loves to learn about all of life's curiosities through reading and writing.
Our school is unique in that we are a performing arts school; and, because of this, students are given opportunities to integrate the arts within their core classrooms.
My students are highly motivated, creative thinking individuals who bring me joy on a daily basis. Despite any obstacle they may face, I know that they will overcome and be great in whatever path they choose in life.
Remember when you were in school and you had to sit at a desk all day? Kinda sucks the joy out of you, doesn't it? Me too. I want a classroom for my students that resembles the offices of Facebook or Google--a place that sparks creativity and problem-solving skills within my students.
By giving students the opportunity to choose where and how they sit, gives them a higher probability to engage in creative thinking and help them with collaborative learning, which is essential for our children's futures.
Instead of sitting at a hard, cold desk all day, students can choose to read in comfort on a bean bag. Or, when my students are trying to figure out the choreography to demonstrate the plot of The Outsiders, they can use the lap desks to sit on the floor to find a different perspective. When my students are preparing for their group projects, they can huddle around using the stools. When writing their research papers, students can relax just a little bit more by writing comfortably in the seat of their choice. By simply having these three other options in my classroom, students will have a choice, which is powerful to their learning.
By giving to this project, you are gifting my students with a classroom that encourages choice, creativity, and collaborative learning. Thank you.
