it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students learn best through hands on experiences and this one is sure to be one they remember. The goal is for the students to learn that the size of an object or substance has no effect on its density. These segmented Hershey's bars are perfect for this lab activity. They allow the students to discover the relationship between density and size in a fun and delicious way. Students will measure and calculate the density of a whole bar and then break it into smaller pieces and repeat the procedure. Each time they will discover that no matter the size of the sample, the density remains the same!
