Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have the most amazing and hard-working first graders. Sometimes it is productive to take a break away from their work and then come back. At times my students arrive to school hungry and it is difficult for them to concentrate.

I would like to provide my students with a snack as they take a break from classwork.

A small snack as they recharge for a few minutes can be very helpful to bring even more productivity to their schoolwork. It is a small gesture, but it shows there are trusting adults that care about them in the school building.
