Chip Chip Hurray! Snacks for the Autism Room

My Project

Hi! I'm Caitlin, and I'm an educator in a high school Autism classroom. Many of my students are nonverbal- they are unable to produce speech. They practice communicating their wants and needs through inviting and engaging activities, including snack time!

Food is important to us- it keeps the rumbling tummy happy and on track to learn!

We are asking for fruit snacks, goldfish crackers, cheese it's, and drink mixes. Goldfish and cheese it's are a fan favorite- all of my students love them, their mild flavor isn't too over stimulating, and they're crunchy! Fruit snacks and gummies are perfect for using to promote good behavior as you can give the whole pack or just a few. Our school provides water bottles so drink mixes are also wonderful- it gives my students prolonged access to a yummy beverage and they can pick and mix themselves!
