Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students show to be incredibly invested in their art class and are always excited for trying something new, especially my younger students. Recently students have been involved in learning about art and culture of China and other countries, and I feel this project would fit wonderfully into it. I want to bring my younger students more variety, preferbly with creating sculptures.

This project will utilize model magic since I find it much easier for younger children and can allow them to get their hands onto creating sculptures of their own.

The puffy paint will also provide a fun aspect to the coloring process. However normal paint avaliable for younger students and easier use.

Ideally I would love to give these students a piece of artwork they can invest a fair amount of time into, and really appreciate by the end. Thank you in advance for any consideration towards the project.
