Chinese Calligraphy Practice to Celebrate the Year of the Dragon!

Help me give my students writing utensils to practice our Chinese symbol calligraphy skills during our Chinese New Year lesson!

My Project

In the last few years, we have enjoyed our Chinese New Year unit in our Creative Writing class! This year, I would like to add more Chinese calligraphy practice to our activities. We create custom lanterns, research history, and presentations.

Adding art pens and colored pencils to practice Chinese Calligraphy will give us the creative side that the Chinese New Year unit is missing!

It is truly such a great time and a unit the students hear about and look forward to. I am thrilled to add another piece that will culturally enrich our learning and add a forever memory!
