"Who are we? We are STEM!" This is how our students begin each morning- chanting, dancing, and enthusiastically affirming our belief that we can accomplish anything we decide to work hard towards! We know that to accomplish great things, we must not only act but also dream!
As the only STEM school in Manhattan, our students are scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians who dream of someday changing the world.
The students of STEM investigate and solve real-world problems while developing social and emotional strength- this will prepare them to make a difference in the world. We believe that all kids are capable of success, no exceptions!
My Project
Last month, to maintain COVID-19 social distancing requirements after welcoming two new students, my amazing 3rd grade students and I moved into a new classroom for our math and ELA sessions together.
We love having our own special space to learn and grow, but the classroom we are using has a broken radiator- it's freezing!
My students have to wear their winter coats inside to stay warm enough.
My students are so brave, positive, and resilient in the face of all of the challenges presented by COVID-19. Your support will allow them to keep learning and growing.
