it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Step right up, donors! In my classroom, learning is never boring—we blend true crime, architecture, and American history with comfort and care. With your support, I’m hoping to bring The Devil in the White City into my students’ hands—a gripping nonfiction narrative that reads like a thriller while unraveling the dazzling (and dark) secrets of the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. This book will allow students to explore big themes: innovation, morality, ambition, and the hidden corners of human nature.
But that's not all!
Every intense lesson deserves a moment of pause. That's why I’m also requesting two comfortable chairs for our new “Decompression Zone”—a cozy, quiet space where students can reset, reflect, and return ready to engage.
