My Project
My classroom is a vibrant mix of Pre-K students, some with diverse learning needs, all learning and growing together! We believe in the power of hands-on learning and creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive.
Play is a big part of our day.
It's how my students explore new ideas, develop social skills, and build confidence. I'm requesting a wooden refrigerator to add to our dramatic play area, which currently has outdated items. This isn't just about pretending to cook. It's about sparking creativity through play. A refrigerator opens up endless possibilities for imaginative scenarios, from running a restaurant to having a family picnic. Boosting social skills will help my students learn to negotiate roles, share ideas, and cooperate as they play together.
Play is the great equalizer in a blended classroom. It allows children of all abilities to participate, learn from each other, and feel a sense of belonging. This refrigerator will be a hub of activity, fostering crucial development skills in a fun and engaging way.
