This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Creating a calm and organized classroom environment is essential for helping students feel safe, focused, and ready to learn. Floor pillows and seats give students flexible, comfortable seating options during independent reading, group work, or brain breaks. A loveseat will provide a cozy spot that feels like a home away from home—perfect for students who need a quiet space to reset. The closet organizer will help reduce classroom clutter, making our space feel clean, inviting, and easier to manage for both students and teacher.

My goal is to build a space where students feel supported not just academically, but emotionally.

This project is about more than furniture—it's about giving students a learning environment that respects their needs and encourages their growth. Whether it’s a student who struggles with focus, one who needs space from distractions, or someone dealing with anxiety, these resources will help meet those needs in a calm and intentional way.

My students are incredibly resilient, curious, and full of potential. They thrive when they feel heard and cared for. By investing in a learning environment that prioritizes comfort and focus, I’m showing them that their well-being matters.
