My Project

These materials will help to benefit students, of varying disabilities and communication levels, achieve success during daily speech therapy sessions.

Speech therapy requires much repetition and practice to train and/or retrain motor pathways in the brain and can become somewhat monotonous without the proper materials and reinforcers to utilize during sessions.

Materials, such as the ones strategically selected, that double as a means to improve a child's speech and language skills, but also stimulate other parts of the brain, have shown to have a greater impact on retention and generalization of speech and language skills. My students are all unique and all have a lot to say. They have the right to be seen, heard AND understood!
