My students need chairs. Our chairs have cracked seats that pinch students when they sit. Students shouldn't have to worry about their chairs when they are learning.
This project expired on June 23, 2012.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Can you imagine trying to learn when you can't even sit in comfort? Students struggle to concentrate when they end up with the broken chairs. When their worried about their seats students do not want to sit still and listen to the lesson, or work on their assignments.
Our students are amazing!
The students in my room are very empathetic. If someone is sad everyone tries to make that student feel better. Students are eager to learn. An education is very important to students. We develop skills students will be able to use when they grow up and get real jobs. Students always want to know how they can apply what they have learned to the real world!
I am asking for safe seating in my classroom. If we are lucky enough to be chosen for a donation, the new chairs will make a huge impact on my classroom. Students will be comfortable in their seats. This should stop a lot of the fidgeting that distracts students from their lessons. Also, students will not have to worry if they are the last one in the room to get a chair.
Please help me improve the quality of learning in the classroom, by providing us with a basic essential.
As the president said "Great teaching can bring entire classrooms out of poverty." Please help me to achieve this goal by donating chairs to the classroom. Your donation will be greatly appreciated.
