Children Love Play Therapy!

Help me give my students tools and games to assist with play therapy that will allow them to open up.

My Students

I am a new elementary school counselor for students K-2! My students are eager to learn. They are very energetic and love to discover new things! Many of the students know each other, but most of them don't. They still support and care for one another.

By being a new counselor, I want to be able to gain their trust and establish bonds.

I can provide them the opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional, problem-solving skills.

Through books and practicing play therapy, I believe will help me achieve that goal!

My Project

These materials will help make a difference in my student's learning by helping them learn more helpful behaviors and understand their emotions.

Through play therapy, the students can learn self-control, self-respect, to express their feelings, problem-solve, communication skills, and modify problem behaviors.

The games I have listed will help with almost everything. Play is the student's language and it is a fun and enjoyable activity that brightens their outlook on life.

As a new elementary counselor utilizing play therapy, I believe will also help relieve the students of boredom and connect us in positive ways.
