My Students

With this being my first year as a teacher, I was more than excited to start our school year. Boy, did I have another thing coming. I NEVER imagined a hurricane would hit, and I wouldn't be able to teach my kids in our classroom.

My kids have taught me more about positivty in a bad situation than I could ever have imagined.

The fact that we are in a church didn't even phase them. They were so ready to learn and have a good year!

My Project

For my project, I am asking for a classroom set of new student desks. I know that this project is very expensive, but the desks can be used for many years to come. We will be very thankful if we receive our desks.

My students are using long tables right now. Although we are very blessed to have the tables, it is hard for the students. The desks will give the students their own space and a place to put their things.

We are being positive and trying to rebuild our classroom one step at a time.
