My Project

These items will be placed in our various center in our pre-k classroom. The sensory items help our students explore using their senses and also help teach science concepts in a hands-on, engaging way! Our art materials help inspire creativity, encourage fine motor development and add flair to our child-decorated walls! Dramatic play items help children to make real-world connections to our themes in a child-friendly, accessible way.

So much of the learning environment in Pre-K is based on play-based learning.

The materials that we stock our class take a beating after being used by 22 children all year. It is always my goal to provide my students with quality materials that enrich our learning environment, and, the truth is, these materials are quickly consumed or are broken after 1 or 2 years of use. This list would help replace broken materials and engage the students in their learning through play!
