This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from all walks of life. They range from special needs to gifted within the walls of the same classroom. Many students come from low-income families and will only gain experiences within the classroom. Over 3/4 of our students are eligible for a free or reduced-price lunch!

Our students come wanting to learn as much as they can!

Every teacher in our school has a passion to make this happen. However, we need financial help to do that. Your donation will be such a benefit to these students.

My Project

My students are learning about life cycles of various animals, and while we have an incubator to hatch baby chicks, we do not have a brooder to help them be more viable once they have hatched. Please help my students learn the full life cycle through this donation.

Many students in our school have never seen the process and do not even know what baby chicks look like in person, so I would love for them to experience this first hand for the first time in their lives.

Please help us enrich our learning through this project. Life is a precious thing to experience!
