Chicken Soup for the Soul: Improving Mental Health for Teens

Help me give my students the resource of healthy snacks to feed their brains and keep emotions regulated, and stress relief tools to help ease the anxiety often carried by high schoolers.

My Project

Teens face emotional and physical challenges daily that just make life a little more difficult. Not having enough to eat shouldn't be one of those struggles. Having nutritious snacks available for students who need a little extra boost to get through the day is an easy solution.

Anxiety is a major issue facing teens today.

Being able to calm down and regulate their breathing, and in turn, their emotions using a meditation player is a valuable coping tool for students to achieve success in the classroom.

Making healthy snacks and calming tools available for students to access will contribute to increasing positive mental health in school.
