Chicken Little

Help me give my students the supplies they need to grow and raise baby chicks.

My Project

We are doing a project with our pre-k students in the school with hatching and growing baby chickens from eggs. The eggs will be kept warm in an incubator. When they hatch, they will be moved into a chicken cage to watch grow. The cage will need bedding for the chickens to stay warm as well as grow and stay heathy. This bedding will need to be changed weekly to keep the chicks clean. This bedding is essential for chickens to grow. This is such an amazing opportunity for our young children to experience and I cannot wait to give this to them.
