My Project

I work at a Title I school with wonderful students who have a wide range of needs. We currently are very limited in sensory supplies.

These supports help students feel calmer, more comfortable, and better able to engage in learning!

The weighted lap pad helps kids with autism feel calmer by giving a comforting pressure. It makes it easier for them to focus even when they are overwhelmed. Chewy snacks can also help kids with autism feel grounded in the same way. Providing these materials can help give my students the supports they need to become more independent and succeed!
