Chewy Necklaces for Our Chompers

Help me give my students chewy necklaces to meet sensory needs; we've gone through quite a few this year and need more (and tougher) ones.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have several students this year with Autism as well as general sensory processing needs. We've utilized several of these necklaces this year and the students are chewing through them quickly.

Help us replenish our chewy necklaces with ones that are made at a higher grade of toughness that will last longer.

These necklaces are important as they keep the chompers off of other objects (including inedible and dangerous objects like pencils, pens and clothing) as well as to help to regulate our students with sensory needs so that they can stay focused on learning in the school environment.
