My Project

I am a school counselor for 7th and 8th graders and a huge motivator for my students are SNACKS. I hold small groups throughout the week for various reasons; supportive conversations, relationship building, teaching skills, or just rewarding students! These students are 12-14 years old and are such hard-workers in and outside of school.

These snacks will go towards small groups that reward students for making positive and safe choices at school.

I want to bring in as many students as I can and offer a variety of snacks for students. Typically, the food stash is funded by myself but it has been a challenge to buy food for the amount of students I want to meet with. Supporting this project will help me target these students and provide extrinsic motivation for good choices.
