My Project

I love working with special needs students because every day brings a new opportunity to make a difference in their lives. Their determination, creativity, and unique perspectives inspire me. I enjoy finding ways to help each student reach their potential, no matter how small the step. Watching their growth and celebrating their successes—big or small—is what makes this work so meaningful to me.

I’ve learned that sensory supports—such as fidgets, weighted tools and sensory oral chew tools—are not just “extras,” but essential parts of helping students regulate their emotions and engage with learning.

Sensory tools make a huge difference in the classroom by helping students regulate their emotions, build attention, and participate more fully in their lessons.
