My Students
My students love the game of chess. They are inquisitive, creative, and brilliant students. Chess is a great opportunity to allow them to critically think and learn patience. This class allows them to interact with a diverse group of individuals in a game that anyone can play.
My Project
My students love chess at our magnet school. They are always excited and ready to play their matches. Timers allow students to add more structure to their games. Both players get the same amount of time to complete a match. These timers will allow students to finish before the end of the class period.
These timers will help students to increase the competition and excitement of their matches!
This added factor will help students to make decisions on their feet. Students will learn to be creative and think critically with the added benefit of timers.
