My Project
Chess is fun. Once you learn how to play chess it stays with you forever. Just like learning to ride a bicycle, it stays in your memory and keeps you wanting to play for fun, or even if you daring enough, to compete with other chess players. Chess is one of the oldest games and has been around for over a thousand years.
Chess will give you better brain function.
Chess can be played from a very young age and until you are 101 years old or longer. Chess is great for mental function and performance and it is easy to set up and play at anytime and anywhere. Chess helps stimulates our little gray brain cells or "dentrites" as we call them. Chess can improve memory, cognitive abilities, strategic thinking, and attention improvement. How's that for a mental workout!
There is a huge community of chess players. Get to know some of the great chess players like Norwegian world champion Magnus Carlsen. And don't forget our own American chess champion - Bobby Fischer.
