Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project aims to secure funding to support the growth and development of the school's chess club. We are one of the few, if not only, elementary chess clubs in our school district. The funds will be used to purchase chess sets, clocks, and instructional materials.

By investing in the chess club, we aim to provide students with opportunities to enhance their critical thinking skills, strategic planning abilities, and sportsmanship values.

This will enable us to create a vibrant and inclusive space where students can learn the game of chess, fostering a sense of community and intellectual growth.
