My Project

I love to teach my enrichment students how to play chess. Over the years many students have come to love friendly competitions and playing mini chess tournaments.

Chess helps students learn decision making, problem solving and strategy.

If we can get a few games in our classroom I will begin teaching chess to my students helping them bring their thinking skills to the next level. Middle school students especially are at the perfect age to learn how to play and develop strategies. Years of fun and learning will result from this project. Thank you for considering my project.
