My Students

I am blessed to teach a group of energetic and motivated students. These kids thrive on inquiry-based science.

I am also blessed to have a parent base with high expectations for their kids.It is really obvious from the students that parents place a great emphasis on progress in the academic arena.

Reading Science World is a way for​ students to own their learning by taking the information provided by the instructor and use it in a way that is meaningful to them.

My Project

These materials will give students the resources they need to be successful in class each and every day. We keep notebooks called interactive science notebooks. In order to keep these organized students have to use a lot of glue sticks and colored pencils, Parents donate some and some students bring their own but many times students find themselves in class without these items. Having these items available for students to use will be a great resource for them to be successful. A pencil sharpener is another item our classroom desperately needs. The one issued by the school is poor quality and has fallen apart.
