Help me give my students a mobile and effective workout set for cheer practice. They do not have any workout equipment currently, and these items are perfect to use, no matter where we need to practice.
Cheering is a physically demanding activity. It is so much more than dancing and cheering. Cheerleaders require flexibility, strength, balance, and endurance. We are new to coaching this year and would like to give our middle school cheerleaders access to fitness items such as resistance bands and balance trainers in order to build the muscle and stability needed for jumps, stunts, and tumbling. These tools will also help to improve their performance, build up their confidence, and prevent injuries.
It is important to show kids that hard work matters, safety matters and that their potential is worth this opportunity.
Another bonus to these items is the easy storage and traveling ability they provide. There are times our workouts and practices have to be in other areas because we have to share a gym with other sports. These items are easy to take with us when travel is a necessity.
