it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Like most schools, cheer is considered a club and not a sport. Although the cheer season is all year long. It does not get support like, football, basketball, and baseball. The question remains what about cheer? Cheerleaders need a lot from backpacks, to bows, and apparel for different weather conditions which is far from cheap! I work in a low-income school where the parents barely have enough money for school clothes let alone cheerleading essentials! Help me not crush these athletes dreas. Let's tell the entire cheerleading team these essential items are already paid for by an amazing donor! Thank you!
I work in a low-income area where students rarely get the opportunity to participate in anything that is not free.
I feel as if all kids should have a chance to engage in after-school activities without having to pay soooo much money. A lot of programs are just sign up, take your physical, and come join us, all expenses paid. However, that is not the case for cheerleading. In previous years our cheer teams quit because students could not afford the essentials. There are students who really want to but just can’t due to financial setbacks! Help me make a difference in multiple students' lives and give them the opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you soooo much!
