Cheer IS a Sport: Help Us Train Like Athletes

Help me give my students essential cheerleading equipment like pom-poms, practice mats, and uniforms so they can build confidence, teamwork, and school spirit—one cheer at a time!

My Project

I absolutely love how determined, energetic, and passionate my students are. This year, we have an amazing group of all beginner cheerleaders who stepped into this sport with no prior experience—and yet, through hard work and dedication, they competed in their very first competition and earned 4th place! Their drive and team spirit are truly inspiring.

Our team lives by the motto: “What we do in practice, we do in the game.” That means every drill, every stretch, and every chant is preparing them to shine—on the sidelines, on the mat, and in life.

The resources in this project—pom-poms, practice mats, and performance gear—will help them train safely, build essential skills, and feel confident as they continue to grow as athletes. These tools will support their development in strength, coordination, and teamwork. Cheerleading teaches discipline, leadership, and resilience—and with your help, our students can keep pushing forward and proving that cheer IS a sport!
