Checking for Understanding With White Boards and Markers

My students need Physics lab equipments and white boards for my Math and Physics classroom. I have very minimum lab equipments and teacher's resources. Please Help!

My Students

Do you remember your science class without lab? I want my students to have hand on experience with High School Physics course. They can grasp concept much faster while doing lab. Also, lab gives them life long learning of science and technology.

My students are mostly first generation immigrants.

They are good learners and grateful for any help. My School name is Alameda Science and Technology Institute where most of the students graduate high school with associate degree from college with minimum resources. If we can provide little more, they can go long way.

My Project

I am requesting very basic equipments for my physics lab. I intend to create some lab equipments with the help of parents. The Physics course I am teaching requires Lab teaching. Hope you will help me to get started. I have used old equipments like digital scales from someones old lab. My students carried out fantastic "Equilibrium Experiment" and wrote wonderful lab report. I hope to provide lot more.

I know science and technology is the future.

I want my students to have a great experience learning science. They can learn with hand on activities with lots of fun. Lab will help them to work in the group.
