it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am currently a Special Education Teacher Support Service for all the students in my elementary school.
The students I service range from Kindergarten to fifth grade with learning disabilities and social/ emotional needs. We work on academics as well as their interpersonal skills.
My Project
The sets of the game of checkers will help the students develop their interpersonal skills in a fun and
Students will work on the ability to initiate and participate in activities with their peers, turn taking skills. and developing non-verbal communication. Students will develop ways to resolving conflict and accept conflict resolution appropriately. Realising and understanding a concept of what is fair and what is unfair.
The game of checkers will help the students to develop their communication and social skills regardless of their academic or skill level.
My plan is to leave a game set in their homeroom so that they can continue to practice with their peers.
