My students need chart paper to use to record notes from lessons.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach in a Title I school, in a highly poverty stricken area of NYC. The students, predominantly Hispanic and Black, are burdened with more responsibilities than can be imagined, yet they come to school each day and try to learn the lessons in front of them. The students' and their parents' lives are plagued with harsh realities of life and poverty, and many times the task of putting food on the table has to take precedence over school. This hardship can cause a lack of focus and create a stressor that makes it nearly impossible to harness the students' abilities.
Currently, most of the classrooms have Smart Boards that are used to teach the lessons each day. At the end of each lesson, the notes are saved on the classroom computer for referral when needed. This poses a problem as each student's need is different and they may need to refer to different lessons in order to help them. As you know, with a Smart Board, only one page can be made available at a time and this does not serve the needs of my students. The chart paper would be used to record notes and students would be able to easily flip back and forth to refer to what may need when they are working.
