I have an excellent opportunity to bring my third grade class on a field trip to view a live performance of Charlotte's Web. This will be a first time field trip for many of my students and they are very excited; however, I am afraid their excitement might be cut short. Many of my students may not be able to go because they come from families who have limited resources and cannot afford the tickets. I would also like to treat the children to a pizza party. This party would be after our trip to the play, and would be a reward for all their hard work this year. This opportunity would mean so much to my students. To see one of their favorite stories performed right before their eyes would be a tremendous thrill for them and a wonderful reward for all their hard work this year. It will also be a chance for them to experience a part of our world that many of them never get to see. Thanks so much for your consideration!
