A day in the life of a fourth grader is that they are ready and eager to absorb whatever comes their way. They are an awesome group to work with, always positive and ready to do what is needed to accomplish their goal. My school is an awesome place to work and for children to learn and be successful learners.
My fourth graders are like little sponges.
My desire is to encourage my students, helping them achieve their greatest potential and make a positive impact on their lives.
My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They already think outside the box but I still want them to think bigger! In my classroom, we celebrate the individual, unique qualities, cultures, and dreams as a class of learners. My aim is to create skills that can be applied in academics and the real world. No matter where we are on our learning path, we meet and move forward together.
Do you remember getting hooked on a great book as a child?
Think of the anticipation and excitement you felt waiting for and then finally reading or finishing a good book that you couldn't put down! My students share that excitement and joy of waiting for and then finally devouring the newest books in their genres. As developing readers, books are so important to my students and are truly valued.
We will use the cart to put our document camera on and store our printer in. The iPad charging station will come in handy because we are very limited on plugs in our classroom.
