My Students

I have an amazing group of students. They come from many different backgrounds. Many of them are not able to afford their own school supplies.

I love teaching fifth grade and specifically these students!

Many of them come from low-income families. Some of them have hard lives, but that has not caused them to be bitter or to be disrespectful.

I want to help my students be successful in whatever career path they choose, and I believe that they are capable of accomplishing great things with their lives. I tell my students frequently that my expectations for them are very high, because I know they are capable of reaching and exceeding those expectations.

My Project

This charging cart would greatly benefit my classroom. We currently do not have an efficient way to charge our classroom computers. We have to use a mailbox system right now with a lot of extension cords and power strips.

This cart would help to make charging our computers a lot more efficient and safe.

It would also ensure that our computers are ready to go each day so that the students can use them without having to sit next to a power outlet.

Finally, this would also make my classroom more mobile. We would be able to take our computers with us without having to worry about dropping them in the halls along the way.
